Jailbreak is a weekly half hour national radio service for prisoners linking families and communities across Australia through music, poetry, information, health promotion and awareness raising.
The radio program forms part of the Jailbreak Health Project which is funded by NSW Health and is based at Sydney’s Community Restorative Centre (CRC), an organisation supporting post release prisoners and families in NSW. A vital role of the project is the delivery of health information on prevention of transmission of blood born viruses and sexually transmitted infections.
Jailbreak is produced, broadcast and streamed nationally live online at Sydney’s Radio 2SER FM 107.3 Tuesdays 6.30pm and broadcast nationally on the Community Radio Network including Melbourne’s 3CR 885 AM.
